My name is Mrs. Peggy Griffith and  this is my 19^th year at South Cameron High School. I’ve taught 3^rd grade, along with 4^th and 5^th grade throughout my teaching career here at S.C.H.S. I have taught all subjects, but enjoy English Language Arts and science the most. For the last 5 years I have been a Teacher Leader for ELA to Cameron Parish, which gives me great opportunities to bring new teaching styles and programs back to Cameron Parish to implement into our programs. I also am the elementary representative for our PBIS program where we accentuate the positive role models of our school and promote better testing scores with many incentives.

My goal this year is to encompass our culture and environment through reading and bring it to a level where students understand what they have right here in their own backyards.
